Apple Day 2008

Saturday 11th October 11am-4pm

Vestry House Museum, Vestry Road, Walthamstow E17 9NH.

Apple Day is a national event organised in local communities to improve awareness of, and enjoy, our local apples and learn how we can benefit the environment by making sure our trees are planted well and survive for present and future generations.

Apple press in action!

Lots of help is needed to make this event the success it is so please call Adrian on 8521 4400 and ask for a slot on the rota. It is great fun and well worth giving your time for. There will be apple displays – only a small selection of the hundreds of varieties that exist, apple juicing, apple bobbing, apple tasting, apple trees, apple bonsai, apple cakes to name but a few of the attractions available.
